Fannie Granger is a veterinarian in Miradero and mother of Pru. She can set a broken leg in no time flat, whether it's on a goat or a person.
Fannie lives with her husband Al in Miradero.
History[]
After Turo sustained a wound from an opossum that Snips brought to school in a backpack, Miss Flores enlisted Mrs. Granger to give a tutorial in first aid to the class. Later, on Mr. Granger's mustang drive to Rancho Conejo, Lucky used the splinting and suturing skills she learned from Mrs. Granger to help the injured vaquero Javier.[1]
Mrs. Granger attended the first performance (on June 23rd) of El Circo Dos Grillos in Miradero with her husband and daughter, as well as the after-party that night at the Prescott House.[2] She did not, however, attend the second performance (on June 24th); Mr. Granger and Pru attended without her.[3] She was also in a front-row pew next to her husband for the canceled wedding ceremony for Jim and Kate.[4]
In season 8, after Spirit got caught a barbed wire fence, she untangled him, with Lucky's help. Lucky helps her with all her other jobs and discovers she would like to be a vet.

- Mrs. Granger's given name is spelled "Fannie" in the credits of "Lucky and the Rough Ride" and "Fanny" in the tie-in book Spirit Riding Free: Lucky and the Mustangs of Miradero.
