Equuleus was a horse belonging to Milagro Navarro, Lucky's mother. Milagro escaped her small village on Equuleus, eluding Don Trujillo's henchmen, and Milagro rode Equuleus in El Circo Dos Grillos, performing tricks on the horse. The horse was a loyal companion to Milagro.[1] A photograph of Milagro and Equuleus remains in the Prescott House.
